Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science values members' personal information and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
Through its privacy policy, the Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science informs you of the purpose and method for which the personal information you provide is being used and what measures are being taken to protect your personal information.
This policy takes effect from January 1, 2024.
The purpose of the Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science collecting your personal information is to provide members with optimal, customized services through the Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science site. The Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science requests personal information when registering as a member.
We collect your ID, password, name, affiliation, address, contact information, mobile phone number, email address, whether information is disclosed, etc. as input.
However, we do not request information that may violate the user's basic human rights (race and ethnicity, ideology and creed, place of birth and domicile, political inclination, criminal record, etc.).

In principle, the Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science does not disclose members’ personal information to other people or other companies or organizations. While you are receiving services provided by the Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science, your personal information will continue to be retained by the Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and used to provide services. If a member requests withdrawal, the personal information provided at the time of registration will be deleted at the same time as the withdrawal request.
Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that render the records unrecoverable.
Matters related to installation, operation and refusal of automatic personal information collection devices
In order to provide personalized and customized services to each member, we use 'cookies' to store and retrieve member information from time to time. A cookie is a small data package that the server used to run the website sends to the user's browser and is stored on the member's computer's hard disk.
The Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science applies a strong firewall and intrusion detection system to block harmful information from external intrusions and protect personal information.
However, member information is managed entirely by member ID and password. Therefore, you must not disclose your ID and password to anyone, and be sure to log out when you finish working. The Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science emphasizes compliance with this policy by limiting the number of employees handling personal information to a minimum and providing regular training to employees in charge.
