Welcome to the Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science.

The Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (KSCLS) aims to contribute to academic advancement and public health improvement through research activities in the fields of clinical laboratory science and related biomedical and public health sciences

Our society was founded in 1978 as the Korean Society for Medical Technology. In 1995, our academic journal was renamed to its current title, the Journal of the KSCLS. In 2009, along with the establishment of new by laws, our society changed its name to the KSCLS. Since then, we have been recognized for the quality and impact of our research as a Korea Citation Index (KCI) listed journal accredited by the Korea Research Foundation.

To enhance scholarly advancement and professionalism in the field of clinical laboratory science, we will support research and academic activities, promote international cooperation and exchange, facilitate practical applications of clinical laboratory science, uphold ethics and accountability, and gather member feedback to foster the continuous development.

As part of this effort, we will expand and sustain opportunities such as academic journal publications, conferences, seminars, and workshops where Medical Technologists and researchers can share their achievements and enhance their research capabilities. Additionally, we will provide experiences for growth, such as competitions, to further develop skills. Thank you.

President, The Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science
