Welcome to the Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science.

The Korean Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (KSCLS) was established as the Korean Society for Medical Technology, an academic journal branch of the Korea Association of Medical Technologists, in 1978, and later changed its name to the KSCLS in 1995. Since then, it has been active in assuring excellence in the practice of laboratory medicine, hosting the KSCLS meeting in 2004, establishing the rules and regulations in 2009 and changing its name to the current KSCLS and being selected as KCI journal by the National Research Foundation of Korea in 2014.

KSCLS has worked closely with and has been sponsored by The Korean Association of Medical Technologists has 11 subspecialty societies (clinical hematology, clinical transfusionology, clinical chemistry, clinical immunology, clinical microbiology, histology & cytology, clinical nuclear medicine technology, public health, clinical physiology, clinical laboratory information and clinical genetics).

We are grateful for the passion and commitment of our directors and editorial board, including honorary and senior members, and the support and engagement of our members who have been the driving force for our evolution as an experts’ organization representing clinical laboratory science in Korea.

The members of KSCLS leadership remain committed to expanding the opportunities for clinical laboratory scientist and researchers to share the outcome of their research, exchange information and enhance competitiveness through academic journals and scientific meetings.

We look forward to your continued support and cooperation as we work to advance clinical laboratory science in Korea.
